Motormouth Lily Allen has called for fellow singer Pete Doherty’s ‘extermination’ – because his drug addiction is “a bit dull”.
The outspoken Smile pop star, who’s rapidly running out of people to criticise, laid into the Babyshambles frontman when asked by GQ magazine to name the most overrated person in musical history.
She explained, “I do think he has to be exterminated. It is a bit dull, isn't it? I've always been surrounded by smackheads anyway. It's like, 'Get over it.’"
Obviously years of exposure to heroin addiction has shown world-wise Lily it really is that easy to overcome.
Of course, she didn’t just hit one target when several would do, and also dismissed Madonna.
“I haven't got anything against her at all,” she explained, “but I don't think anything she's done since the early Eighties has really been, like 'Wow’.
"She might have meant something once but I don't know many people my age who care."
Allen added that her view of warbler James Blunt "rhymes with his surname".
"Rapidly running out of people to criticise"?! Ugh, the writer makes her sound like one of those artists who must name names for press, when she hasn't said almost anything about anybody.
I don't agree with the Madonna commentary, but calling her "a total bitch" just makes you sound the way the article wanted you to see Lily Allen.
The truth is the truth. You don't have to be a huge superstar before you can say the truth. Granted, it can be rude and/or uncalled for but at the end of the day it is still the truth.
With that being said, I'm mad at that she said that her view of warbler James Blunt "rhymes with his surname". LMAO! So harsh.
I don't know who this girl is but that Madonna comment is right on target. Mads gets a lot of credit that Janet should be getting. I mean seriously who had the better music videos, tours, choreography, and music back then? Not Mads. & Janet has influenced a whole lot more people not in just one genre of music.
