The PS4's domination outside of the US is not surprising at all, but the US numbers are really interesting. The Xbox One is still in the top ten despite all of the negative PR, which goes to show just how popular the 360 really was in the US this console generation. Despite this, the PS4 has come out swinging.
I feel pretty confident about the PS4 coming out on top this coming generation, but there's going to be one hell of a brawl before we get to that point.

Sadly, Microsoft fanboys are highly populated in the U.S. They'd buy a brick with an X on it as the successor to the 360.

Look how **** on they're getting for them... they'll backpedal at least a bit.
Yes, cause CLEARLY video fame companies care if there is huge controversy with their product.
May I remind you of the online-only feature in Diablo 3 and Sim City? They gave zero ****s, Microsoft will surely follow suit. Prepared to be made a fool. I'll be laughing from my offline $399 PS4 console.

It's not happening any time soon. If anything, Microsoft is only pushing their policies HARDER. They may backpedal, but it won't be until a couple of years have passed. At least.
I find it funny that "someone" reported this even though Kworb (I think) cleared up the usage of "Xbone" in the HQ thread
Anyway, the only justified reason that I can think of for getting a Xbox One is if you still have heaps of Xbox Live stuff left and you can get the console cheap. There is only a $50 price difference between the consoles in Australia
