I was watching this and felt really bad for her. It's easy to call them stupid but the pressure of trying to answer a question like that on the spot with millions of people watching during a huge moment in your life is extremely difficult. People pass judgment on others much too easily. I'd love to see some of you doing this. And I think she would have won had she not messed this up.

I agree. I'd probably mess up too. But the thing is, she seemed so confident. Then again, looks can be very deceiving.

So what are you arguing with me for? It was a stupid question and all she needed to do was throw out an irrelevant statement as long as it came out smooth, but that wouldn't actually make her any smarter. It's not a test of intelligence at all, so no, I don't think all these people (not just the ones in this thread) should be calling her stupid when, if they were put on the spot like that the majority would have slipped up too. It's easy to judge when you're not in that position.

It was several things mixed in together and to me the question sounded dumb itself. They should just be asked what they want more than anything and answer with World Peace.
