Why do 99% of ATRL stan for female artist and not for male artist ?

They're exciting, male artist bore me, minus Kanye

Because male artists typically have generic, boring voices and a similar image

Well a lot of us bottoms are living vicariously through our favs and wish we were born women so

I stan for Macklemore.Entirely and mostly because not much of us here want to start a stan war between male artist.

Rumor has it there are some **** on this forum.

It's a pop forum primarily and most successful pop artists are females these days

and female artists in general tend to be more interesting and take more risks then male artists. Nobody wants to stan for a boring person and unfortunately not a lot of males try to shake things up

Because most of ATRLers are shallow gays and they don't care about talents or artistic value, they just want their artists to be beautiful and make those generic radio bops to twerk to. And female pop stars are the best at doing this.

Beside most male artists don't do pop.

I have a pretty even amount of male and female faves

Well I stan for male artists. And honestly nowadays male artists (the popular ones at least) just aren't as good as some of the ones we've had the last 40-50 years.

I'm 50/50 gender stanning wise so...

But I do find female voices more appealing.

unfortunately, not many are worth stanning for. Back in the day though, male artists would've DOMINATED something like this if it existed. Elvis, Stevie, Michael, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, countless others. Looking back,"pop" females weren't really that successful and weren't on top of the charts until Madonna, Whitney, etc...and all the subsequent girls. Typically, I guess what makes females more interesting would be the ability to change looks up drastically and mostly the diverse vocal displays. Overall, today is just the era of female artists shining. For a male artist to dominate again, he has to be a major game changer. artistically, vocally, everything.

I used to be a huge Usher fan, but then he left his roots and his music became dull to me. I overall just prefer female voices, but I do stan for a few male artists. One of my favorite artists is Michael Jackson, but, it's kinda hard to stan for him these days.

EDIT: Probably another reason is that most (good) male artists are in bands, and bands are just hard to stan for (at least for me).
