"Good" and "evil" might be socially relative and formed by perceptions of the world around us, but I do think there are some things that are inherently and universally "evil" across human cultures. In no culture do I believe it is (or should be) acceptable to senselessly injure (physically or emotionally) or kill another human being. Whether good and evil are purely social constructs is not really not a black and white issue.
It's subjective like a lot of things in life. Personally, I do to be honest, I believe there are some really evil things and people out there. I also believe there's a lot more good than there is evil. They both need to exist in order to keep the cosmic balance.
