What the hell was he playing? That must of been the song in its minimalist form.

Sounded like he was playing the melody of the song on some kind of synth pad. Can't wait to hear his new stuff, especially after he's said it'll be less mainstream.

Cool, but don't know why he's calling it a "single" if he's supposed to be working away from mainstream/popular music.

Most EDM producers (even those who have no mainstream success) usually release singles. I'm sure Calvin will release something that is a little more risky, but I'm sure he will find a way to find success with it as well.

No, I'm just confused why he's talking about a single rather than an album. It sounds more of a mainstream route to releasing, but I may be speaking too soon. I'm also lost because I Need Your Love is just starting to take off in the US and he just announced Thinking About You as the next European single

Yes. It wouldn't make sense for him to just drop an album anyway, he is a known name and producers/DJs release cuts regardless of their success.

If he sticks to what he's said, it'll just be a chance for whatever he's doing now to change the opinion that he's gotten soft for Top 40 on the last album.

Perhaps it's just a one-off single or something in that vein. I doubt he is too far ahead on a new album right now.

Yas! He needs to do more songs with his own vocals. His voice is so beautiful.

I'm here for this either way though. Besides, just because he's working on a new single doesn't mean it will be released immediately. I'm sure he will give I Need Your Love and Thinking About You enough time before releasing this. It's good for him to have a backlog of songs to stay in the public's eye.
