I was discussing this with a friend the other day. If you could ask for a phone that incorporated different aspects of different software and hardware makers what would you choose?
Personally I would go as follows:
UI/OS: Windows Phone 8 Hardware: HTC One Ecosystem: App Store/iTunes
All that I want is a larger, maybe 4.7" screen. The iPhone 5's design is perfect. iOS 7 is rough, but it has potential. It sounds like they're going to be changing a lot of the design throughout the betas (namely the icons, thank god). But my dream mobile OS would probably be more of a fusion between iOS and Windows Phone.
