There's a common pattern presented in the release of new material from Britney Spears. Once the media and fans begins to hear rumblings of Spears visiting recording studios,
like clockwork, a new single is announced and released within a matter of months. With producers praising Britney's new material, going as far as to call it "Grammy-worthy" and with the release of "ARTPOP" said to be in the fall -- even
heavily rumoured to be released in early 2014 -- will Britney Spears
overshadow Lady Gaga's fourth effort? Has Lady Gaga delayed her release to the point where her window of opportunity has passed?
