AT&T Mobility extending waiting time for device upgrades.

I work for AT&T and to be honest, most customers don't even know they only have to wait 20 months as opposed to 2 years to upgrade. So if it's kept quiet enough, this change won't cause too much commotion, but heY.
No one even knows this. Everyone thinks its two years anyway. So if people catch a fit I would chuckle.
So I don't have a right to be pissed? we used to be able to upgrade six months before the contract expired which was great. And now I have to wait this long... they're just trying to force customers to pay the extra $250 for an early upgrade, because they know people like yearly iPhone upgrades.

You know. If you have an iPhone you can sell the old one and buy a new one with that money if it gets you that bothered.
I'm surprised most people didn't know this. I literally buy a new phone as SOON as the 20th month comes by. I got the Note 2 at like 18 months or something. They give you a much earlier upgrade if you call customer service.
Some people like the yearly upgrades because they might have lost, broken, or had their cell phone stolen from them.

You to know a little secret? You can get Apple Care+ and when your contract is due. Ask Apple for a new phone. It's a brand new phone. And if you can try to get an unlock on it and sell it for even more. That's how you get the full pay back. Plus you get to keep your old one.
