What do you think about their 2nd single? They are in the 70's on the Hot 100 apparently. I think its just so damn stupid that they even say "Stick with you" in the song.......they are like identical to PCD except they let the talentless members in the group sing.

The band's second single was chosen via a fan poll going around through e-mails, MySpace, and their official web-site. The slow jam "Ride for You", produced by Bryan Michael Cox, proved successful against its runner-up "One Shot" and is now being helmed as the official next single. No video details or plans have been released yet.

Are you kidding me? LOL! If we're talking about talent you might as well rip on the both of them. Danity Kane and PCD work with a lot of the same people and if their music sounds the same you should blame whoever wrote and produced it.

I can't believe people actually praise or bash groups as if they are behind the song. These groups are just puppets and the real talent or lack there of are the people behind the scenes.

Well, that can't be true because:

1.) Dawn & Aubrey has confirmed "Want It" as the next single on their own sites that they post on from time to time. They confirmed this before the "Showstoppers" video even was shown.

2.) The last time that the group was on TRL, they all said that "Want It" will be the next single, and they said on BET that "Want It" will drop around Mid-Late October/November.

3.) The only reason "Ride For You" is on the Hot 100 is because of ITunes downloads. that's how a LOT of their songs got on the Hot 100.

4. Aubrey said on her site that "One Shot" (along with "Stay With Me") are most unlikely to be the second or third single because everyone is already familiar with One Shot and it was the intro to their show anbd album; and they don't want to release it.



Also; "Ride For You" is getting buzz as the THIRD single.

Voice is also important. Nicole Scherzinger can sing. Some members of Danity Kane can't, but they do. Listen to "Hold Me Down" and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I'm not going to lie, I thought some of the songs were horrible in terms of how badly they sang. "Sleep On It" for example could have been much better, but Diddy has rushed these girls out and usually a group would need a lot more time. So I think they have potential in the long run... that's if they can suppress their egos from running off to do single projects *cough*aubrey*cough*

Speaking of which, has anyone made a thread to debate how long DK is expected to last? lol

All the members of Danity Kane actually sing well to some extent though. Shannon is the only DK member not really vocally great and Aubrey runs a thin line of sucking vocally and being decent. Dawn, D. Woods and Aundrea are all great singers.

Aubrey doesn't have a bad voice really, she just tries to add too much of a sexy pitch whenever she sings.
