Then she left Rene Elizondo.

Then she bacame mega cheap.

I just hate all the new songs. They are so generic and average , nothing stellar. She is so gonna flop hard.

I am a Janet fan, but I must say that those pictures are funny! LOL

She has become mega-cheap and maybe if she flops, she will produce the material you like. So, you may be doing her a major favor by writing every negative post you can about her. I have never seen a fan of an artist from a couple of albums become so obsessed with her and writing bad reviews every time she releases a song. Hey, don't like her -- don't buy it. I am sure others will follow your lead and others totally disagree.

What is with America hating Janet all of a sudden. The woman did help shape the face of modern pop/r&B music. She paved the way for countless artists. (okay well maybe not countless...lol) Regardless, people need to quit downplaying Janet.

Its disgusting compared to her old stuff.

I hope she includes a barf bag with this album. Those clips were lousy to put it very modestly.

It looks like this will be the very first Janet cd I won't be buying

One little slip... but this isa bit harsh, everyone hating because of... you know. Janet has been doing this for so lonmg (hears people groan, I've been saying this six different artists today, lol) people should respect that and when people say Janet not think "Eww, michael" or "eww, malfunction"

Without Janet (the exception of Madonna) the Britney's and Christina's and Beyonce's wouldn't be possible. The whole idea of a sexy, assertive female pop star dancing all over the stage and going all out didn't exist before her. The diva was all that was out there before.

Wow. Hilary Duff is a better singer now. What's with the whispery and generic beats, Janet. This is god damn awful. I hope she Alt-Shift Delete all this crap and get an intensive singing course. OH! and make music with JD while NOT a) having sex b) while you're FAT. Then Comeback again later, lady.

When I read a response like the one above from someone who has a picture of Fergie and says "Queen...Icon,etc"" I don't think they should be taken seriously. Despite what anyone wants to say on this board, good or bad (or indifferent), Janet will do very well! Stop stressing over it! Plus, she puts on great shows, so 20 YO will do better in the long run than you think. I heard the same stuff before Velvet Rope came out (I think the criticism was worse).

Bottom line: people are fickle. Now Justin is a great pop singer because of a song or two on his second solo LP. One day you are adored, the next you're scorned.

Judging from these clips, the album will suck.

Though "So Excited" is leaps and bounds better than COM
