I don't know, but maybe because it emphasizes the presence of love. Just to keep the world in balance.

Because if people can hate, they must have given a **** at some point, it's just that they weren't willing to dig deeper, or getting the wrong messages. And the actual opposite of love is not hate, but apathy/indifference. The irrational hate (or trolling) is another thing, needs to be ignored.
