I love David Lynch, but I'm a little over this meta narrative of him working with artists that are clearly inspired by his work (or at least create work that is reminiscent of his approach to surrealism). It feels a bit insincere an approach, kind of like Madonna working with today's pop tarts (who probably wouldn't have existed without her) for the sake of mainstream relevance.
