If i had to choose 4-5 people/bands to perform next year based on albums/singles that might *Possibly* get nominated next year, i'd say....

1) Linkin Park (new album late this year or next year)
2) Kelly Clarkson (new album next year)
3) Red Hot Chili Peppers (i see Stadium Arcadium having long-living power all the way through next year)
4) Nelly Furtado (same as Chili Peppers, considering the right singles are released)
5) Britney Spears (alright, I'm sorry... but I think it would be *interesting*, not necessarily "Exciting" to see Britney return for her first VMA performance in a few years... just for kicks... see if she can still bring it....)
