I read an article about the shooting of this film, Linsady was supposedly an absolute MESS and almost got the whole thing cancelled. She would run away from filming, she almost didn't make the casting deadline, would refuse to come out of her hotel room, etc and the film was microbudget (less than 50k) so they almost couldn't afford all the delays.
