I'm Not Dead is one of the best albums of the year! Why is it flopping in the US? It's IMO better than Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway", that sold millions!
Anyways I think she should release U + Ur Hand in America......she has nothing to lose. And then record a new album. Thank God she's popular in Europe!!
make a u+ur hand remix -mainstream, commercial, causing hype, featuring a rapper with a club video- if it s what they want. and maybe get a new promotion team :S go to raido stations promote the hell out of u+ur hand, pay radio stations for high rotation, hire people to vote on trl, attend award shows etc... whatever needed shud be done if they are too desperate and considering I'm Not Dead era brought us 18 new songs she could re-release around november to milk the sales

Wow. So Nelly Furtado-ish. That would definately work.
In my opinion, she should re-release the album say around October or early November (good time for CD releases)... she could pull a Christina / Janet with 16-20 tracks on it (no filler, unless if you consider songs already on the "I'm Not Dead" album "filler")... something like this:
1) Stupid Girls
2) Who Knew
3) Long Way To Happy
4) U + Ur Hand
5) (NEW TRACK, RELEASED AS A NEW SINGLE) (something like what was on her first album, an R&B Club banger, something similar to Most Girls or There U Go, produced possibly by Timbaland or Darkchild, or some other notable R&B/Hip Hop producer...)
6) Nobody Knows
7) Cuz I Can
8) I'm Not Dead
9) Dear Mr. President
10) Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)
11) Runaway
12) The One That Got Away
13) I Got Money Now
14) Conversations WIth My 13 Year Old Self
15) I Have Seen The Rain
16) U + Ur Hand (Remix) - could be the 4th U.S single after new track is released
And if the new track and U + Ur Hand Remix did good, she could release a 5th and final single, Long Way To Happy, which could possibly ride on the success of the previous 2 singles....
Otherwise, she's gonna need to get back to the drawing board and start a new album to have out by sometime later on next year.
That's just my opinion though, you don't have to agree with me.
Talk $hit about Lindsay Lohan, release "Cuz I Can" with a controversial video and promote. Perform at an upcoming award show and call out some celebrities.
if she s gonna re-release she better add ''Heartbreaker, Disconnected, I Have Seen The Rain, Centerfold, Fingers and Crash & Burn'' maybe one or two more new tracks, i remember her sayin she had like 40 songs for this album
She's doing fair internationally, what's up with US?
Opt. A: Re-Release CD
1.) With a less obnoxious cover
2.) Release Long way to Happy and whatever's new as singles
3.) Put a load of extras (Music Videos/ Making of videos / etc.) on the disc.
4.) Actually Promote the CD
Opt. B: Too many divas this year, see ya in another 2 years ~ Make a new album
Re-release I'm Not Dead with Heartbreaker, Fingers, Centerfold, Disconnected, Crash&Burn, plus one other new song.
But before re-releasing it, just release damn "U + Ur Hand" to the US with it's video and all. She could do a remix after about 2 months into the release.
Honestly there is so much she could do that she hasn't.
