Same here . I buy like, a pair of sneakers a year and that's it. I don't understand why people really need more than that, except for maybe a pair of dress shoes.

I also find that simple Wal-Mart/Target shoes last 2-3 times longer for me than $50+ sport-designed/Nike/Adidas/etc shoes for me.

I just bought some sandals because my last ones were a really cheap brand of Adidas, I guess, because they broke a month after I wore them.

I don't think shoes need to be expensiv. As long as they are comfortable and nice, I'm okay. I just bought some Nike sandals and they're doing well. Size 9.
