Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle is putting together a new girl band to fill the gaping hole left by the retirement of her own band in the charts.
The 27-year-old Irish babe is reportedly spending her new-found free time sourcing a group of talented singers to take on the likes of Little Mix and The Saturdays.
‘When she was in Girls Aloud, Nadine always wanted to be the leader but it never worked out like that,’ a source told The Mail On Sunday.
‘By putting together her own band, she can take control and also reap the financial rewards.’
The Promise singer would do well to learn from the business mistakes that saw her own solo attempts flop when she exclusively released her debut album, Insatiable, via Tesco in 2010.
However she will also be able to carry on her girl band dreams after it was reported Nadine was keen for Girls Aloud to live on but she was forced to abandon the band when Cheryl and co called time on their chart topping success.
At this point Nadine and solo success in anything outside of Girls Aloud are basically antonymous. Her solo album BOMBED and her attempt at owning and running a bar in the US failed miserably, as I'm sure this latest project will.
Yeah, there was a error on the website last year when the Tesco website and they listed album as free and everyone was ordering over 100 copies, i got my free copy in the post
