17 and 22 is normal.

For me , I think 10 years age difference is the maximum. But if they're effing hot tamale and the difference is 30 yrs , IT'S OKAY.

If both are 18+ then I think an age difference of 15+ years is creepy. If one is under 18 then a difference of 5+ years is creepy.

My ex was 24 when is was 17,,and it lasted
for almost a year. And it went wrong

Anyway, by American standards that's usually taboo; in fact many would see the older person as a pedophile. However, I personally think it varies from relationship to relationship, based on the maturity of both parties.

I don't think age matters as long as the two really care about each other and disregard the age difference themselves. It's all up to how they connect and if they think it's a big deal, then it might be, but if they don't, then I say it's perfectly fine.

I agree with what Ke said. As long as the people in the relationship don't care about the age difference, then it's fine (although it's creepy to me if they're on an Anna Nicole Smith + her dead husband level). It's all a matter of opinion though.

It's Not a good idea if the age difference is more than 15 years.

Anyways, I'm not so caught up on age differences in relationships more so than I am the level of maturity between the two people. Granted, however, it's difficult to have but so much shared maturity between two people the greater the age difference.

Yeah, that's creepy. I mean it makes you look as a bad person too. It's obvious that SHE married him because of his money. Even if she really loved him , people are going to look at it in one way.

And those who say we don't care about what people say are definately lying. Whatever people say or how they look at you reflects on your relationship. Why don't people look for relationships that they are satisfied with and socially accepted?!

Age is just a number. Love is what counts. Just make sure they are over 18.
