I still don't understand it... why does MTV keep adding awards that have nothing to do with music videos to their VIDEO MUSIC Awards. First it was the Website award from 99 that was handed out in the pre-show and never mentioned again. Then came the Video Game award in 04 that was never really popular with the MTV audience... but now there's 2 of them. Now this...why????
This belongs in the TRL Awards, not the VMAs. They should've kept the Breakthrough Video award instead...
Also, why do they keep adding categories AFTER the press release... shouldn't they have had everything ready by the time the list was announced???
