No, the song flopped because it's horrible. Besides their music has similarities back in 2006, but now BH and S&T are completely different. It wouldn't matter if she released it before or after.

People just don't like Nelly's music, and some people forgot about her. JT was able to stay in the limelight as a actor and being a feature on few songs. Nelly didn't really do anything.
