Last Friday night is a perfect single choice and a great pop song in and of itself, though I'm more partial overall to MTN (which has some pretty awful lyrics tbh, an exhaustingly long video that does too much and too little, and really didn't need to be a single in the first place).
If we're talking about marketing, then of course Last Friday Night. I mean, it went #1 while MTN couldn't hit the Top 20
But if we're talking about quality of music, it has to be MTN all the way. I'm not sure how you can argue otherwise. I don't care which one will be 'more remembered' (only by ATRL), but MTN is sure to live longer in the long-run.
