What are your opinions on this song? It is probably my favorite Janet Jackson record period. How do you think it'll do if it was released right now as a new single?
Honestly, it would shoot straight to #1 today, even though it peaked at #3 in 1993/4. The production was perfect. And Like Pan said, choreo was sick in the video. Janet was so hot in this era. She puts all these R&B girls today to shame.
I own and love the CD-Single. The Brothers In Rythm House Mix, the Swing Yo Pants Mix, the D&D 12" Mix, the TNT Bass Mix, the Tee's Freeze Mix, & the Extended Mix of the single were all SICK. Oh and the b-side, "One More Chance" that could have easily made the "janet." tracklisting and been as big of a hit as "Again" was.
That's the Way Love Goes would def. do well today. That's one of her best songs. Janet was a good album.& that classic Rolling Stone cover? Woo. I miss that Janet.
OMG, old school Janet is the ****. "Janet" isn't exactly one of my fav Janet albums, but the singles and 1 or 2 other songs are ****ing genius. I think "If" has to be my 2nd fav track of off "Janet"
One of my Top 5 Janet songs/videos. It would be a #1 hit if it was released 2day, with Cassie and Ciara on the scene. I hope Janet dances her ass off in her next video.

They are descendants of Janet so thats why I brought them up. Janet at 40 is still BETTA than the people tryin to be her.
I remember when this was out, and I still enjoy it just as much as I did then.
