Not everyone knows what they're going into. Life is about the unknown and there's much we don't know about fame and how it can truly impact our lives.

They went in for the music, the acting, etc. It's their passion and something they wanted to make a career out of and because it's such a long-term with such a slim chance of it actually becoming successful, nobody expects it to happen.

No one can truly know what being famous is like until it happens to you. There's only so much reading and watching people can do but to have it change your whole life is outer-worldly experience.
