You obviously did not read the article or lacked the comprehension skills needed to understand what she was saying. She didn't say Hillary is the best answer because she's a woman, if you read it at all, you will remember she said, "As a person, she would be the most qualified person to enter the White House in modern history. Now, that she happens to be a woman - that is a spectacular thing."
She basically was saying that HIllary's resume of working at a First Lady, US Senator, and most notably as Secretary of State, makes her a viable candiate for the position. The fact that she's a WOMAN is an extra kudos. Why is it a kudos, she outlined why.

Meaning, one of the most powerful leaders in the world will be a woman. In a world where females outnumber the males, yet we've always been subjected to the background or never treated on the same playing field (look no further than salary pay), that immediately changes. Hillary is that HBIC and if she ran, life will be given. The Democratic Party will basically continue to show the American People that they are capable of being a party of diversity and equal opportunity. Being the party to place the first President of color and first female President will be telling. Obviously, if we were to ever get the first gay President, it'll be a no brainer which party produce them.
