HILTON ALBUM ON HOLD

Socialite PARIS HILTON has ducked out of a chart battle with CHRISTINA AGUILERA.
The aspiring pop star had planned to release her self-titled debut album on 14 August (06), until she discovered it would be the same day as Aguilera releases her new double album BACK TO BASICS.
No new date was given for Hilton's record launch.

...and we care? Just kidding. Um I probably won't get this album, but I will preview it. If it's good then yeah. I hate artists who push albums back. Do I even have to give an example...Fefe Dobson. I'm getting mad at her. She has the best two damn tracks *sorry for going off topic* ever to be released on her second album and yet her album is still not out. Paris Hilton will most likely be a Khia, but I can see her selling more than her. I could be wrong though. Paris Hilton is huge.

I just think excitment for her album is dwindling more and more everytime she postpones this ****. What's her problem?

Hmm, Alicia Keyes backed her album by a few weeks in 2003 when she was up against Britney - and Alicia's album ended up selling more in the first week than In The Zone. So, who knows.

The album is scheduled for an August 22 2006 release date last time I saw.

Aww the rubber chicken is scared of going against Xtina... which could've worked for more sales for her seeing as some demented fans of hers would buy both B2B and whatever Paris puts out in the same trip @ Wal-Mart/Target/etc. Obviously, she and her servent minions are trying to make this alblum #1 on the charts.

A lot of the songs leaked already. Hah! I wonder what Scott Storch feels about this. I think Outkast comes out the week after Christina. Depending on how well Christina sells she might be #1 for more than one week. Paris isn't going to have a #1 album. Outkast is popular.

She's making her debut , she has no idea if people are gonna buy it or not , she knows that MANY people don't take her seriously. She has to be afraid . Even Big artists always try to avoid conflicts.

I think she will sell good on first week ,but I'm not sure about the weeks after. She has to release "Turn It Up" like tommorow if she wanna make it big. That song is incredibly HOT.

I just found out that they're talking about the UK. She's still going to have competition from Christina is the US though.

Are you sure Pancosnic? cause I found this article on an American website www.ratethemusic.com and they didn't mention this was a UK date change.

I like Turn It Up more than SAB but I think TIP wil flop because I laughed SOOO hard the first couple times I listened to it. Now it just makes me chuckle, buts its still kinda good.
