There are few albums that manage to always find their way into a "Best Albums of All-Time" list, and these three seem to do it effortlessly. Which one, in your opinion, has the best musical content?
"Rumours" by Fleetwood Mac
The most commercially successful of the three, "Rumours" has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. Often recognized as Fleetwood Mac's best album, and if you've ever listened to the album, I'm sure you'd agree.
Highlights:
"Homogenic" by Bjork
Released in 1997, "Homogenic" brought Bjork to her musical peak, in many music critic's opinions. Beautifully written, produced, and sung, "Homogenic" is amazing from start to finish.
Hightlights:
"Hounds of Love" by Kate Bush
Probably Kate's most accessible album. Kate seemed to stray from the avant-garde music she had made with her previous album "The Dreaming" and come up with something beautiful, and even somewhat commercial. An interesting part of the album is that the second side of the album is titled "The Ninth Wave" and tells the story of someone who's been shipwrecked.
I have listened to Rumours, haven't heard the other ones, so my vote goes for it. I am going to get Hounds of Love as soon as I can. Fell in love with Running Up that Hill. Not gon get Björk's album since I don't like her at all.
