American Horror Story‘s season three Coven is slowly adding new members: AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy took to Twitter today to announce that Oscar-nominee Gabourey Sidibe (Precious) will be joining the cast of the third season of the FX hit.
Sidibe joins fellow newcomer Kathy Bates as well as returning stars Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy and Lily Rabe for AHS: Coven which will premiere this fall on FX and is rumored to revolve around witchcraft.
Also, I love how she totally proved Howard Stern wrong. After Precious and the Oscars, he said that she would never work again and that the only reason she got the role in Precious was because of her weight and that she isn't a real actress.
And since Precious she's had roles in 3 different movies, and been a series regular on The Big C and now American Horror Story. She's also just finished filming a new movie. And Precious was only 4 years ago.
