When this song first leaked, there was alot of hype of how this song sounded ALOT like Madonna's "Holiday", but it also reminded people of Britney Spears' "Anticipating" (well it does to me), and when the "Britney" album was released, tons of people were saying how "Anticipating" sounded alot like Janet's "All For You" single.

So to calculate it all up:

Madonna's "Holiday" + Janet Jackson's "All For You" + Britney Spears' "Anticipating" + a bit of Madonna's "Sorry" video = Jessica Simpson's "A Public Affair"

I'd say it reminds me most of "Anticipating" actually. It does!

For me it's more like a tie between Holiday and Anticipating, but I voted for Holiday.

Exactly.... those ah's toward the end of the song is a complete ripoff of Diana Ross rendition of ANMHE.

The song sounds like Holiday. APA is decent, nothin special. Its good 2 hear pop music again.

Bart, I was fully aware of that but Joe Simpson publically stated that it samples ANMHE.

Um, I think that was so obvious in fact that THAT'S THE REASON NOBODY BROUGHT IT UP. Besides, unlike any of the songs in this poll, that will probably receive some recognition in the credits in the album notes.

Now if not, somebody should definitely sue.
