Above is the new 2nd single video for "I Can't Hate You Anymore." How do you guys feel this song will do on the hot 100. I like it better than "What's Left Of Me" even though they are basically the same song. I do not think it will surpass WLOM though. I'm predicting top 30... if lucky. Hopefully this song will keep his album sales stable so he could release his 3rd single, "Beautiful." I think more people will respond to that song because it's one of the only songs where he's not talking about his divorce
What do you guys think? Pink-sized Flop (Top 125)? Top 100? Top 40? Number 1 haha?
As you mentioned, it sounds exactly like "What's Left Of Me", so, people might like it because they approved the "first version of the song" OR, they might hate it for sounding the same.
I don't think the video should have been enitrely shot at the beach. It's like all you really have to do is watch one minute of the video and you get the whole concept...
Both singles really do seem similar so I guess the video couldn't have helped much anyway. I don't know how well this song is going to do, but I guess it's nice having a pop solo artist around.
I doubt this will touch WLOM success (#6 on Billboard), though I GUESS the song is a bit better. Plus the video is too simple, plain and boring. If he's lucky, this will go Top 40 on Billboard.
Anywayz, even if ICHYA flops, I hope Jive will still release e 3rd single. I'd love "I Do It For You" and "Beautiful" to be singles.
Video is boring as hell. He should have pulled a Mimi (WBT, SIO, DFAU aka WBT pt. 2) with WLOM , *w/e*, ICHYA. Cuz ICYA is too much like WLOM to be very successful. He should be happy if it charts.
