Goin’ In’ singer Jennifer Lopez is goin’ to a new label if newly surfaced reports are to be believed.
Shortly after sending fans into a frenzy with the announcement of her new RedOne produced, Pitbull-assisted single ‘Live It Up’, now the rumor mill is spinning stories indicating Lopez’s already extensive resume with the producer just got one more notch…
Via HitsDailyDouble:
With RedOne helmed hits ‘On the Floor’ and ‘Dance Again’ largely attributed with the resurgence of Lopez’s career, word has it the songstress has moved to his imprint at Steve Barnett’s Capitol Music Group.
The move will mark the third label shift the hitmaker has had in the last three years.

We can’t say that this was all that bad of a decision. For, like Gaga, the RedOne sound has ultimately been what’s kept Lopez’s name afloat on charts and immeasurably contributed to her musical resurgence. Nevertheless, as ‘On the Floor’ has had its moment in time, here’s hoping the duo work to craft a fresh, new sonic approach and not try to recreate that magic that was.
Hopefully with the talent the two possess, what lies in waiting is something just as good or better.
