Lets be honest though. They'll give the awards to whoever shows up... especially the "bigger" internationally recognized artists that have better things to do than sit around relative butt**** nowhere Saskatchewan all day.
I love Carly Rae, but she only got it because she was the only major star who attended. I mean, even Celine Dion and Justin Bieber who were nominated didn't even make the voyage to the middle of nowhere craphole of Regina. You know how many connecting flights it takes to get there

Why are the awards in Regina? They should be in Toronto or Vancouver, or even in Mississauga!!!

So she didn't win because her single was the most successful, and probably selling 10x more (or more) than the other nominations? And Pop Album wasn't televised, she won it last night.
Why the hate for Saskatchewan and Regina? It has the biggest economy right now in Canada, i moved to Sask for work and they pay good. Why sit jobless in the smog in Toronto why all the jobs are in Saskatchewan? The Juno's finally recognized that the Prairies are the hotspot of Canada
