He's been advised to veto it, and there's not enough support to pass it over his veto. I'm even doubtful it will pass the Senate.
And guys. being innocent - as I'm sure pretty much everyone on here is - is not a reason to support this, because it's not as if this is just going to be used against criminals. Even respected politicians have called this a "Big Brother" type act, and that's certainly not a good thing. US citizens are entitled to privacy, and that of innocent people should not be breached for just a chance at finding a few criminals.
