Nicki Minaj has reportedly embarked on an acting career after taking part in her first feature length film which will see her star alongside Brad Pitt and Penelope Cruz.
American Gangster creator Ridley Scott will be directing Minaj's film debut, which is set to be titled The Counselor and due for release later this year.
The film, in which Minaj will play a starring role, follows a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who gets into trouble when finding himself embroiled in a drug trafficking scandle.
The 'Pound The Alarm' rapper is seemingly well equipped for an acting role after graduating from LaGuardia School of Music & Performing Arts before taking on a music career.
The Counselor is set to hit the big screen on November 15, 2013 and will star Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz.
