NINA SKY: the "Flippin' That" song, "The Musical" LP and new single...

Natalie is taller than Nicole... for once!

I'm not sure of Nina Sky's overall success so far, but I'm sure "Move Ya Body" was a big hit in most places. Anyway, I also loved "Turnin' Me On" and plenty of other songs on their first album, the "La Conexión" CD/DVD and loads of other tracks they've featured on. Anyway, I'm sure that some of you have heard "Flippin' That" from their new album, produced by Cool & Dre and featuring Rick Ross. It's not the official first single but has been let out as a taster of "The Musical" which is out soon. I'm not sure what the official first single is but I'm always checking their websites, hoping to get a glimpse at the title or maybe a clip. Many people have written Nicole and Natalie off as a one-hit-wonder duo act, but I'm hoping that this is not the case. I love the song "Flippin' That" and it reminds me of "Hot Boy" on Christina Milian's latest album, also produced by Cool & Dre. The official first single for 2006 is called "Sugar Daddy" and has been produced by Cipha Sounds & Solitair. It's getting premiered on Hot 97.1 in New York between 12 and 1pm, so if you are local and get that station, check it out!

Yeah peeps... NI stands for Nicole and NA stands for Natalie. Sky is for them being limitless and diverse... the sky's the limit! Their albums show this more than their singles.

There's plenty of songs out there that I dislike, but would never call horrible 'cause it's such a strong word. I use words on this level for things like racism, sexism, undue death and destruction. Ooh well, can't please everyone!

It takes a few years before you should be able to call an act one-hit-wonder's, and Nina Sky's big hit "Move Ya Body" was only 2004. I ain;t trying to hear anyone say they KNOW these girls are gonna become this... nobody KNOWS anything, we just gotta wait and see.
