Dane Cook will co-host TEEN CHOICE 2006 with Jessica Simpson on Sunday, Aug. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX. Cook co-stars with Simpson in the upcoming film "Employee of the Month." Kevin Federline will close the show, performing his single "Lose Control," live, for the first time on network television. TEEN CHOICE 2006 will offer an advance look at the glitz and glamour before the event during a red carpet special Sunday, Aug. 20 (7:30-8:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed).

Federline, who was also the executive producer and co-star of the reality television show "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic," is set to release his single "Lose Control" in August and the album "Playing with Fire" will debut soon after his performance at TEEN CHOICE. Federline has been featured in Newsweek, Blender and Giant Magazine's first annual music issue. Federline began his career as a backup dancer, performing with Michael Jackson, *NSYNC, Destiny's Child and Pink. Other performers and presenters will be announced soon.

Since there are a lot of topics about Kevin Federline, I'm not gonna post another. So, here'a little some-some from bbc.co.uk/totp :

Sometimes you see a news story and you just think that it HAS to be made up. Because no one can possibly be that far away from reality, can they? So get that well-used pinch of salt at the ready, folks, because Kevin Federline's allegedly got some fightin' words for Justin Timberlake.

According to Star magazine in the US, K-Fed's not content with having Justin's ex-girlfriend (remember when Brit and Just were showbiz's hottest couple? Oh, those happy, simpler times...), Kevin also wants to steal Justin's chart success as well.

The mag reckons that a 'source close to Kevin' claims: "He's incredibly jealous of Justin's musical style, his sales and his popularity." Since rumour has it that Britney's managed to use her label clout to get Kev a deal with Jive Records, he's now "convinced himself he's going to be the next Justin, only better."

The source continued: "Kevin even told a friend he's going to 'pulverise' Justin on the charts. He says he's got the hottest producers in the business and that he can write killer rhymes and that all Justin has is a silly falsetto and a bad haircut." And that's not the best bit - apparently when the New York Daily News contacted Justin's publicist, the fabulously-named Ken Sunshine, for a response, all they got in return was hysterical laughter.

...which Kevin probably sampled, laid down on one of his tracks, rapped over the top of it, and declared "this is the hottest s*** ever!" Like we said, folks: pinch of salt.

I still don't see wut the point of this is to either side? Nickelodean must be running out of money if they need Kevin Federline to co-host, even though he's only famous in tabloids for things children shouldn't even know about it. They shouldn't even be showcasing him in the least, as these awards created on the foundation of celebrities that can be respected for children's sake. As for Kevin Federline, who is going to take a rapper seriously who debuts on the Kid's Choice Awards? WUT A LOSER?!
