Pirates of the Caribean is #1, I knew that, but I'm hoping You Me And Dupree gets ahead of Little Man by tomorrow night, as it's most likely the better movie (although both are supposed to be bad).
But I'm surprised that Little Man is ahead. The cast of You Me And Dupree has a lot of "better known to the public" leading actors as it has Kate Hudson, Matt Dillon and Owen Wilson. Little Man only has those brothers, and I have a hard time believing they're more famous than the other 3 actors.
But yes, that is the Top 5. In other news..A Scanner Darkley is at #10, it was released to more theaters this weekend and it's nice to see it doing well.

so after tomorrow Pirates 2 will officially be the highest grossing film of 2006....and I am SURE it will reach $350 mil if not $400!!!
and im pissed that little man is doing well. shows you that america is filled with idiots.

Will, the Wayans brothers are from the first 2 scary movies which were the funny ones. And they had a TV show based on them which re-runs on BET everyday now. And they are a little bland, but they can make you laugh.

Yes, but LIKE I SAID, Kate Hudson, Owen Wilson, and Matt Dillon and made plenty of more famous, and well constructed movies, unlike WHITE CHICKS and LITTLE MAN

Yes they are more famous, but Shawn and Marlon are more known. They've had string of TV shows, they're whole family are known compared to Kate, Owen, and Matt who've had some movies and thats it. Plus the Wayans have managed to maintain a good total gross compared to the some of the low film outcomes to the other 3. Anyways 'LM' beat 'Dupree' and I'm happy people know whats funny. Although I love Kate and Owen.

Supes was such a good love story. I'm disappointed it's not going to make back its budget until DVD release.
I still haven't seen DMC yet but I really want to. If I liked the first one, i'm probably going to like the second one. But I have no desire to see Little Man or YM&D. Next week has some intriguing releases, though.

It does. Black movies these days look so unfunny and black people will eat it up. And I can say that because I know many friends who said they want 2 see it and I ask why. Yet those are the same people who say movies like Million Dollar Baby and Chicago are dumb.

I bet you would find just as many white people who say Million Dollar Baby and Chicago are "dumb" movies too. And many white suburban teens love the Wayans schtick and pay to see it. The audience is a wash in your comparison.
