PCD Star Melody Wants To Be Mariah!
Pussycat Dolls stunner Melody Thornton has hinted she'll be the first
to quit the sexy group after confessing her first bandmates initially hated her
and she was far from happy when she wasn't chosen to front the band.

Thornton tells Blender magazine, When I first met all of the girls, some of them -
not the girls who are in the group now - were not as welcoming, I was like, 'What?
I'm a kid. Leave me alone, The sexy singer admits
she has big solo plans: I'm biding my time... We all see this as a springboard for something else,
Some girls have said, 'It's my dream to be in a pop group,' and I'm like,
'OK, because I want to be Mariah Carey.
She's so cute, I love her. I'll probably get her album.

I saw one of her "live" moments on a "Beep" Performance.

If she wants to be Mimi, she'll have to get lip syncing lessons asap.

She IS talented, but she sounds a little too much like Christina Aguilera for her own good. I'd like to see her in a solo carreer (or actually doing something in the group, other than adlibs and dancing).

She's actually very talented vocally but I highly doubt she'll have much of a solo career.

I used to think she was good looking, but looking closely at pics and performances, shes actually pretty ugly and short and stubby. Her voice is good though.

Well, she'll be over before she starts due to the Christina comparisons and:

which one is she? nicole is the only one who's name and face i know.

Melody is the Black/Spanish one. Regarding the singing live comments, they all sound terrible live. Almost as bad as Fergie. They need to work on it. They do know how to entertain though. I can see why they chose Nicole to front the band because she has that "it" factor. I think that the group was mixed though. Some of them were great dancers and two of them were good singers. I don't think Melody dances as well as the rest of them, neither Nicole. The poof girl is an amazing dancer.

I think her voice is really overrated. She's a mess live.

Since I have never heard PCD sing live (they have, I just haven't listened), I can't speak for her voice but I'm going to assume that it's nothing special. She doesn't have the look or star power to make it solo. PCD is the best she will ever do and she should be thrilled!
