I was just wondering if anybody here has heard of the pipettes?

They're a British group who focus their music on 1950's do-wop, insanely catchy and their album 'We Are The Pipetttes' is released Next Monday in the UK. They have an awesome live reputation as well

Tell me what y'all think

I suppose they could be considered cheesey but their main following is the 'Indie' crowd. Theyre reviewed/featured in 'Q' 'NME' etc. They dont really have a mainstream following. I think theyre different and their style of pop is fresh and something fun. Which is what the UK pop market is really lacking at the moment.
