So, I come back after who knows how long the server was down and I realized how lame the state of ATRL right now is just really sad. It's been almost completely overrun by run of the mill idiots or people who are trying way too hard to "fit" in. Not to mention the people that are just annoying being themselves. Whatever..just ranting here. I'm here wishing this place would just go under for real.

But well, yeah that's just me ranting.

It's true, ATRL needs more stand out personalities, more controversy, more posts worth reading..

Honestly, the only reason I come on ATRL now really is The Chosen One game I am running and to promote my radio show. That's it. And that's a shame.

Yeah, I remember all of the stuff I used to read before I joined. After I joined the contreversy was still here. But Since about April 05 I've seen what made ATRL fun in the first place just slowly disappear.

I mean Froggert's become the new Fonso, how did that happen?

I haven't been posting in months. I hate this place now.

I have been here since summer of '03 and yeah, major changes (for the worse) have taken place. Since January, I've been spending less and less time at this forum.

But w/e, it's just a forum after all.

Whatever. I'm at a point in my life, online and off, where I feel better than I ever have. Three years ago, I would have died if I missed a day of not being on ATRL. Not anymore. It happens. And that's something i'm not sure you're understanding right now. I don't need ATRL anymore. Some of us don't. Hell, YOU don't. And the sooner you realize that, the better.

I dont need this forum but I still care about it. I still like coming here and making people laugh. I am still making a contribution and I am sick and tired of people bitching about how it used to be. Well things are going to be the way they were. Things change. Get over it.

I'm honestly glad to see that you're not trying to harass me here and that you gave me an honest post. Actually, the fact you did that has inspired me not to really reply back to this. Besides, you made good points.

EDIT: Though I will say one thing: You guys absolutely really cannot group me with the people who come back just to trash the forum because I have never left. Just felt that I should point this out.

I agree with Froggert. It's true that ATRL has gone way downhill, but if you aren't going to or can't do anything about the state of ATRL, then complaining just makes you sound whiny and kind of cocky since it's usually older posters saying how it used to be soooo great before. Seriously, I think a good share of the newer posters are annoying clones, but if all you're going to do is bitch, just don't come.

We need Pandora back, her posts were always amazing.
