The main pop girls are becoming more and more useless
So I've been thinking about it lately, and pop music has been a complete bore for the past 2 years, that not even a Gaga era could rescue it. The main pop girls are becoming more and more predictable, boring, uninteresting, and "washed up". Last girl to breaththru was none other than the MJ of our generation and that was back in 2008.
So is pop music as we know it is music pretty much OVER ?
Are we witnessing the death of ~glorified pop divas ?
Agree/disagree ?

First of all; Most of the pop girls are working on new stuff. Second; Katy's breakthrough that gave her the name 'The Female MJ' was in 2011/2012.
Is pop music over? No! We have Gaga, Bey, Nicki, Katy & Britney all releasing sometime this year to early next year.
We aren't witnessing the death of the pop divas because they're all away in the studio getting ready to slay.

It just seems that way because most of them are on a break now.

Among the girls, only Rihanna is active
Britney, Gaga, Beyoncé, Adele, Katy, Avril are all still in the process of finishing their albums.
Just be patient.

I kinda agree, most of them have sold their careers or given up on them ( Britney, Xtina, Mariah), but it's because people's taste has changed

How could Gaga save it?She is as generic as everybody, just pretending she is not.But she is.She doesn't bring anyting new.And no one since Madonna and Michael did.90's were all over with generic Mariah and Celine ballads.Beggining of 00's - generic teen-pop like Britney and than generic dance pop.
True pop artist's doesn't appear like for 2 decades.

Again, Britney is away with her new show she is doing + recording a new album. She just had a smash with Scream & Shout.

Rihanna, P!nk and Demi are all in the top 10 of iTunes right now, the former two having been pop girls for many years now
Most of the major pop girls like Gaga, Britney and Beyonce are on break right now.

Brit, Gaga, and Bey their last eras were all lackluster and underwhelming. Same goes for every move they've done ever since.
I don't see a major shift in their future, feels like they've run out of ideas -- aside from Gaga.

My post didn't have anything to do with success, it's more about quality, new ideas...

I don't even need it TBH. Your messy grammar, nonsense and delusion do it already.

No way it is over and no way it will be over. I believe the pop divas of today are as exciting (or even more exciting) as the pop divas in the 90s. Whereas the Mariah Carey's decade filled us with ballads, the divas of today provide us with many genres/musical varieties as possible.
