I've just started watching the show yet again (I'm literally half way through the Pilot ) and I'd forgotten how impressive the pilot is.
So in depth and unafraid to jump straight into the main storyline.
So many amazing episodes. I remember that black and white joke episode.
Need to rewatch it tbh, but need to get better quality video first. I have all 8(?) season on my hard drive

I think the funniest episode was either "Bad Blood" or "Hollywood A.D."
I remember cackling at Scully constantly running back and forth in "Hollywood A.D." to demonstrate to Tea Leoni how to run in heels.

My mom used to watch it actually. I never did, cause it was showing very late and cause of the theme song
I only watched it all in ~2006-2007
The theme song always freaked me out a little.
I remember when the episode "Ghost in the Machine" was on - I didn't watch it because I thought it would be an actual ghost and I was scared of ghosts.

I don't recall it being cancelled, I think they ended the season with time.
I can't remember what happened in the finale either. I think I blacked out for most of Season 9 because Mulder wasn't there, but I aim to pay attention this time.
I love this show so much. One of my favourites episodes is the one in which they discover a kind of man that heals when he gets into a strange liquid and that way he can live forever
This was THE show. I'm currently re-watching it online. I'm on the episode where they find this town where the kids have alien DNA in them and there's a cult. It's called Red something, I think. I still skip the opening song. It scares the **** out of me not to mention I become so paranoid, especially at night.
Season 8&9 are my least favorites, the story kinda got boring. I mean Mulder was gone for the majority season 9
I still have yet to see the mos recent movie though.
I bought the whole series box set last year and it's seriously one hell of a show. ICONIC, mysterious and always a pleasure to watch. Scully and Mulder are the most perfect television characters EVER. I'm stuck at S7 right now though. The show takes a long time to REALLY get going, but somewhere between S4 and S6 are the best hours of sci-fi television I've ever seen.
