That Khia's album will be the biggest flop of the year?
Here's an interview from Vibe
Khia: Thug Missus
By: Patrick Taliaferro

"My Neck, My Back" princess Khia is unpredictable. On wax, she has a feminine bravado that could make Suge Knight blush. But, during Vibe.com's time with her, it was like talking to a distant southern bred cousin. With her new album, Gangstress, on the way, and enough venom to silence most of her competitors, Khia’s primed to become the next big female rapstress – that is, if her mouth doesn’t get in the way.
Vibe Online: Tell me about the new album?
Khia: Gangstress is just things I’ve done and things I’ve been through. It’s all me; I wrote the whole album, and executive produced it myself. It’s just things that make me a gangstress. I wrote a lot of it while I was on the road, and I think it’s even better than the first one.
You say you wrote this album, does that imply you didn’t write the first one?
Khia: No, just saying that it's me, its me and my feelings and personal things that I've felt. It’s going to be a lot like the first album, since its real and it’s me.
You sound like such a lady on the phone, but when I hear your records, you're nasty!! Who is the real Khia?
Khia: You’re talking to Khia, and Thug Missus is the rapper. Khia is the business lady; I manage myself and I do a lot of business for myself, so I have to be professional. People always say when they talk to me, 'it doesn’t sound like you!' But, I work during the day and I rap at night, so I guess this is my professional voice.
Do you get love from other performers?

Comment Khia: I get a lot of love, I’m kind of like the **** in the music business: I rap for people 18 and up. A lot of my songs are sexual and relationship orientated. I go through a lot of things with men, and I love sex so I speak about that. My stuff is for grown people, not for kids.
Your mug shots were making the rounds a couple of years ago. How do you feel about your past?
Khia: That’s why the album is called Gangstress, because I am a gangstress and I live to tell. Girls do some of the same things that guys do.Girls hustle, girls grind, steal, sell dope, rob, fight, pull out guns. I am not running from my past. That’s why I am Thug Missus. I even used the mug shots as an album cover.
No regrets?
Khia: Not at all, it made me who I am today. Back when I was hustling that was the way: some times you get caught and you’re going to jail. If you have money to bond out, now that's the question. Some people say I have more mug shots than the guys, but I am not ashamed.
You disappeared for a while, and the rumor mill started about your whereabouts. Can you address that?
Khia: A lot of people say I disappeared, but I traveled. I’ve been traveling and still eating for five years, as big as the album was here it was just as big overseas, in Canada, Puerto Rico, Africa, and Greece. I look at it as a blessing. I didn’t have four and five videos, but I still sold 800,000 copies, so I was blessed to put an album out, and still eat off it five years later. I’ve just got the time to put another album out. It takes time to put a project together.
Anything taboo for you to rap about?
Khia: No, because I write my own stuff, and the way music comes to me is the way I write it, so I do me. So if it's something I want to speak about, I speak about it.
What motivates you?
Khia: The fans, the music. I love what I do. I love to perform, I love to write, just to go to the shows and sell out shows, and see people’s response.
Tell me about your groupies. I bet you have stories!
Khia: You’d be surprised. I have a bigger white fan base than black. My fans are both male and female, who show me just the same amount of love.
Are your kids allowed to listen to your music?
Khia: Yeah, they listen to the music. They know to listen to the clean version when I am around, but I know they don’t when I’m not. Kids are kids.
Tell me about the first single?
Khia: The first single is “Snatch The Cat Back,” it’s another ladies' anthem. Every woman in the world has wanted to snatch that cat back from one guy or another. It’s about you’ve been with a guy, you made love to the guy, you thought he was the greatest, and you realized he’s not… now you want to snatch that thing back. I don’t know a woman in this world who didn’t want to do that. If he’s messing with other women, snatch it back. If he ain’t giving you any money, snatch it back. It’s a sexual song, so you have to listen to it dirty.
What’s next for Khia?
Khia: I am going for "Queen of the South". I feel like I have the females on lock, and I’ve been promoting "Queen of the South". My road people put that on my posters. I’m taking that seat next to T.I.
Hmm, what would Trina say about that?
Khia: Well I’d tell her I sold more records, and my fan base is bigger than yours, and I don’t even have the big label behind me. So I am still holding the crown. And I am a natural beauty. I am the "Queen of the South"! I’m taking that throne.
Fridays at 11pm, what is Khia doing?
Khia: At the hotel, getting ready to perform.
Who would play you in a movie?
Khia: Jada Pinkett
If I drug-tested you, what would I find?
Khia: (She sings) MARIJUANA, that’s it.
Tell me the last time you had good sex?
Khia: Last night.
What would your tombstone say?
Khia: (She thinks) It would say "lioness".
The last good meal you prepared?
Khia: I cooked for Easter. I cooked everything! Ham, ribs, pork chops, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, collard greens, and string beans.
What do you think of when I say the name Tyra Banks?
Khia: Walk.
Lil’ Kim?
Khia: Love yourself.
Kanye West?
Khia: (Deep Breath) arrogant.
Hurricane Katrina?
Khia: Wake up!
Karrine “Superhead” Steffans?
Khia: Teach me what you know girl (she laughs). She gotta teach me some things, cause she is swallowing!
I love how ignorant she is. She shouldn't hold her breath for more than 12 copies of her CD celling.

kissXcontrol, you wear your soul on your face. There is way too much good stuff out there to waste your time on the music you hate.
