It's supposed to be nostalgic guys.... And right now it's only out in the US and Canada. They're working on getting licensing for worldwide release. They did up the graphics but it's not supposed to be a full on modern tamagotchi experience (though the touch screen features are nice).
YOu can make an account for the US iTunes without any purchasing data so you can also get free US apps. Google this there's lots of tutorials.

I'll probably still download this one, tbh. I only got Hatchi because it was free and I was feeling nostalgic about Tomagotchis. The Hatchi final stages are a mess anyways, so I'll be glad to have the original iconic ones!
I'm on my second one. My first one lived to be 8 days old. They generally live 7-8 days before they're fully grown, what sucks is that the adult stage is one of the shortest...
