Rapper Ne-Yo has urged Britney Spears to ditch her husband Kevin Federline, branding him a freeloader.

The 23-year-old is helping Spears work on new material, and doesn't like what he hears about her wannabe rapper beau.

Ne-Yo says, "I don't know the guy, but I know people that know him and he seems to be a guy who caught a break. He's a bit of a freeloader."

He adds of his collaboration with the pop princess, "I've done one session for her, but now she's pregnant it may be put on hold for a while. I'm not allowed to talk about her sound though, her people want it kept under wraps."

I'm just excited that she's taking the rnb direction.

I heard this on the Doug Banks morning show this morn. I think it would be a cool song but her image needs an extreme overhaul.

Ne-Yo is renouned for song writing (Example: "Let Me Love You," "So Sick," and "Unfaithful"), so I see that Britney is becoming more and more desperate, hence she is working hard on achieving perfection, meaning top quality songs and all.

Actually Ne-Yo is the desperate one, he's working with every single artist in the industry right now. He wants his ugly ass to get credits in every album coming out.
