On "Breaking Bad," teacher-turned-meth-kingpin Walter White tells his wife he is the danger. He is the one who knocks.
Outside of the popular AMC show, though, the danger was someone who didn't knock.
Authorities have arrested a man accused of breaking into "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston's car in New Mexico late last year and stealing a script from the upcoming last part of its final season, according to ABC News.
Bernalillo County Sheriff's officials said Xavier Macafee, 29, is being held on suspicion of burglary. The script, however, is still on the loose.
Cranston reported a theft on March 1, after someone broke into his car while it was parked at Sandia Peak and took a shoulder bag containing an iPad and a copy of his “Breaking Bad” script, a criminal complaint said.
The complaint also says a confidential informant told one of Cranston's employees that a man was overheard at a local bar bragging about how he had broken into a vehicle and lifted a script from "Breaking Bad."
Charles Baker, who plays Skinny Pete on the show, is pleading with the suspect not to ruin the show by leaking the script, TMZ.com reported.
Cranston has won three consecutive Emmy awards for the role. The show returns July 15 for its last batch of eight episodes.
