(KP International) - Soooooooul Patrol! Taylor Hicks, the latest 'American Idol' winner, has recently been named number one on People Magazine's Hottest Bachelor list.
The salt-and-pepper-haired singer beat out newly-single heartthrob Matthew McConaughey, country singer Kenny Chesney (who was married to Renee Zellweger for the short period of about seven months) and Canadian hottie Shawn Ashmore who stars in the 'X-Men' film series.
Hicks even beat out some of his fellow 'Idol'-ers. Ace Young, who has apparently been nicknamed "Ace the Face" for his stellar cheek-bones, made the cut as did 'Idol' host Ryan Seacrest.
Though Hicks is on the Hottest Bachelor list at the moment, he confessed he wouldn't mind settling down with Mrs Soul Patrol. "I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with the right woman," Hicks said.
