So my 2nd one just decided to stop working. The first official Apple one that I had lasted 2 months & the current one I have now which is non-Apple has lasted 4 months. How long do your iPhone chargers usually last you?
They last me like 5 months. They're very easy to break, especially when you have young family members that use your iPod/Phone. It's annoying so sometimes I just buy one of those multi-use chargers.
It depends, I could have it for a month and then one night it magically decides that it wants to stop working. However I've collected iPhone chargers because I don't have time for the BS. Surprisingly though the charger that came with my phone still works.
The material they use to make the coating over the wires has always been subpar. If you bend it at all (like using the phone when it's plugged in) it can cause wear and tear on it. I've found that third-party cables tend to hold up much better.
Mine stopped working yesterday actually. It started having a defective contact two days ago and one day later...
always the same ****. Ain't nobody got time for that tbh
I used to go through them like my sister goes through tampons. But the Lighting one is holding up so far. I can'
t say the same about those uncomfortable headphones.
My lightning cable that came with my iPad Mini that I got on launch day (Nov. 2) is still flawless and in like new condition, and I use it probably every other day. Maybe you're just too rough
The Lightning cables are awful... Apple overengineered them to the point where they're so fragile that they seem to have half the lifespan of the old 30-pin connector. I have one that gives my computer a "this USB accessory is drawing too much power and has been disconnected!" message, and another that only works when plugged in in one direction.
Why couldn't Apple just use the good, reliable, uncomplicated MicroUSB like everybody else?
