For the college kids on here.

What is your major? Are you picking what's likely to get you a job after graduating or have you chosen something you truly love that may not be as job-friendly?

I'm actually trying to combine both.

I'm currently an Advertising & Public Relations major with a minor in Music. My passion is music and I want to work in the industry (advertising, promotions, artist relations and management, etc).

Psychology Major here.
I wanted to just go get my masters in counseling but now im thinking about getting my Doctorate and becoming a Psychologist.

In my country, it's not job-friendly AT ALL . . But I'm willing to work in the UK, Ireland or the states. So . . .

I'm majoring in Fashion Design. Not exactly the most job-insured major, but I've always been an art kid and never even considered a non-creative field. I'm pretty confident in my talent and know that this is a difficult job market for everyone in our generation, so I try not to worry about the future too much.

But if I wasn't an art major, I would have studied Psych or Communications.

Communications major with a concentration in Public Relations with a minor is Spanish .

History Teaching.

1 year till graduation.

I'm doubling in mathematics and economics

Wow, thats really good. They both tie in really well. I'm a Psych major and I have a minor in dance performance. I really wanted to major in Dance Performance, Dance is my passion. I've been doing ballet, modern, and tap since I was 6 but Im such a copout so I went for the more conventional route of majoring in Psych. If things turn out well, I hope to be a child psychologist/school counselor & own a franchise of dance studios for kids one day.

It's something I love and there are plenty of jobs available where I live.

Not yet, but i'm planning to go with Fashion Design ever since my art teacher really encourage me to do this!

Sis I'm a Stats Econ Major

I'm not in college yet, but I wanna major in something related to biology.

Perhaps biochemistry or pharmacology.
