I agree 100%. It's a rare occasion that an interviewer gives a person they are talking to the time he/she should have for a proper interview, and they often ask really stupid/uninteresting/superficial questions.

I often have the impression those kind of interviewers are taking neither their profession nor the people they are talking to as seriously as they should.

the more involved an artist is with his/her work, the better the interview will be. Most interviews are short because of the fact that the celebs being interviewed arent really involved with their work at hand,from a creative standpoint, besides being a prop. Its hard to deviate questions if they arent involved in creating the product thats being discussed.

most interviews are dumb/superficial based on what the celeb pushes, which is usually superficial ideals.

They basically ask the same question over and over and over again

As a stan, most interviews are lame because the interviewer clearly isn't as invested in the celebrity as you are, so they always end up asking stale questions. Literally every No Doubt interview inevitably reminds everyone of the fact that Gwen and Tony's breakup was the inspiration for Tragic Kingdom, that they took so many years off, etc. And literally every solo Gwen interview is like "omg!!! red lips!! blonde hair!! fashion! you're so pretty! how you do it!?!?"

But with Push and Shove they had like 3-4 almost hour long interviews that were amazing Still mostly all info I already knew but it was really great to have in-depth interviews, and one of them had an interviewer who was clearly a big fan. I wish there were more interviews like this with every celebrity.
